In the record

Royce’s schedule records 26 cessions that lie at least partly in Montana, from 1851 to 1891, under 6 treaties, agreements and acts. The peoples named most often are Crow (Apsáalooke), Gros Ventre (Aaniiih), Blackfeet (Pikuni), Arikara, Mandan and 9 more.

The atlas records 4 broken treaty promises here, including Fort Laramie 1868 and the Black Hills: abrogation by the Act of Feb. 28, 1877, Blackfeet and Glacier National Park: the 1895 agreement and the 1910 park and Crow Tribe and Herrera v. Wyoming (2019): treaty hunting right survives statehood. Land has come back here: National Bison Range restored to CSKT.

Everything here is linked at state level only. The atlas does not look up addresses or parcels, and a cession touching a state does not tell you whose land a particular place is.
