In the record
Promised to the Wyandot as 148,000 acres west of the Mississippi in 1842, never delivered; they bought 39 sections from the Delaware in 1843 and ceded that tract in 1855. The area covers about 24 thousand acres in what is now Kansas.
The 1899 record names Delaware (Lenape) and Wyandot as the people of this land.
How it was taken: not stated. The OSU treaty text dissolves the tribal relationship and grants citizenship by agreement, which fits none of the standard categories; the cited sources do not describe coercion.
Today, Delaware Nation (Oklahoma), Delaware Tribe of Indians, Stockbridge Munsee Community and Wyandotte Nation carry the history of the people named here.

Shapes come from C. C. Royce’s 1899 maps as georeferenced by the US Forest Service. They are approximate and are not legal descriptions of land. Royce recorded land the United States treated as ceded; the shape does not show a nation’s territory.
