What happened
Little is public about Nvn-nes-'a Land Trust. ProPublica Nonprofit Explorer lists a nonprofit of that name in Eugene, Oregon, designated as a 501(c)(3), with its tax exemption issued in May 2024. The listing places it in the category of natural resources conservation and protection.
ProPublica also shows a Form 990-EZ for the fiscal year ending December 2025 reporting revenue of $185,950. That is the only financial figure available, and it does not say where the money came from or what the trust has done with it.
The trust's website is a placeholder. It reads "We're currently working on a new website for Nvn-nes-'a Land Trust." The page gives no mission statement, no leaders, no land holdings and no donation page. So the trust has not said who leads it, whether it is tribally led, which nation or place it serves, or whether it owns or has received any land.
A reader who wants to give or partner should contact the organization directly and ask for its governing board, its land plans and its donation instructions.
Good to know. Its website is a placeholder with no mission, leaders or donation page.
