Research notes
Named in an unratified California treaty of 1851-52. People: Serrano. The treaty itself glosses the name as Serrano. Signed by Eheterio of Maronga (Morongo). Candidate present-day: Morongo Band of Mission Indians (Serrano/Cahuilla), Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation (Serrano) - Morongo is in OSU's Treaty K list; link medium-low; Hodge (1907) wrongly places these people in the Santa Isabel treaty.
