Claim or correct a page
Every nation’s page in this atlas can be claimed by that nation: reviewed, corrected, told in its own words, or taken down.
The pages were built from federal records, court decisions, and research. None of it speaks for any nation, and no nation has reviewed it yet. If a page concerns your nation, you decide what happens to it.
What claiming a page means
- We mark the page as under your nation’s review and hold any changes you ask for.
- Your nation can add its own account, in its own words and its own names, credited to the office you choose.
- You choose the license for anything you contribute. It never defaults to ours.
- Review is not endorsement: a reviewed page says only that your nation reviewed it.
Taking content down
A removal request is honored first and discussed second. The page and every link to it are hidden at the next build. If you want, the address shows a short note that the content was withdrawn at your nation’s request; if you prefer, it shows nothing.
