For tribal reviewers
What review means here, what we ask, and what we will not do.
What is on a nation’s page now
Public records only: treaties the nation is named in, Royce cessions associated with it, court cases, land returns, and names with their sources. There is no narrative about your nation’s culture, beliefs or priorities, and there will not be unless your nation writes or approves it.
What review can mean
- Reviewed: your office looked at the page and its corrections are in. The page says so, with the date and the office.
- Written with: your nation contributed its own account, credited as you choose.
- Edits requested: the page is marked as under revision while we make your changes.
- Declined: only the bare public record stays, with no narrative.
- Withdrawn: the content comes down.
What we will not do
- Treat silence as consent.
- Publish sacred sites, burials, or other sensitive locations.
- Decide which of several governments speaks for a shared history. Where claims differ, we show each one and mark it disputed.
- Take money, or ask for it on your behalf.
