In the record
Set apart as a reserve for the Spokane by executive order in 1881; in a March 1887 agreement, carried out by an 1892 act, they gave up their claims and moved to the Coeur d'Alène reservation. The area covers about 164 thousand acres in what is now Washington.

Shapes come from C. C. Royce’s 1899 maps as georeferenced by the US Forest Service. They are approximate and are not legal descriptions of land. Royce recorded land the United States treated as ceded; the shape does not show a nation’s territory.
